Guys,
Here are the 2005-06 hockey and pro basketball teams for Haffner's Hat Trick Hockey and Pro Basketball games. The disk ID for both of these is 06.

You will notice a drastic difference in the hockey teams when you play them out. In reality, scoring increased in the NHL this year, but also the number of shots also increased, as did the shooting %. Shooting % increased from 9% in the last few years to 10% this season. In 2004, the shooting % was 9.2 % and the SOG lg avg was 28, and this year it was 10% shooting on a lg avg of 30 SOG. Thus, a higher % and more shots plays out into more goals, in the context of this game. So, one percent doesn't sound like a lot, but it turns out that it is when that 9% was based on much fewer shots, and the 10% is based on more shots, so the difference of that 1% really shows up in these games. You'll have some 8-5 and 9-8-type games, in fact, I had a 9-8 game with the Flyers/Sabres, and a 14-11 game with the Lightning/Thrashers, but I think over the long haul, you'll see the norm fall more into the 4-3, 5-4, 6-5-type games. Also, in the past, not too many players recorded over 200 shots in a season; maybe only 3, or 4, or 5 skaters per team. This year, I noticed some teams had 2 or 3 or 4 skaters with 300+ shots, and one player, I think it was Ovechkin of the Capitals, had over 400 shots.

The NBA teams are pretty much status quo from what we've seen in the recent years.

For both sets of teams, the "Others" listed on the teams are the sums of all the players I could not fit on the teams, due to limited roster spots, except for games played and minutes played (for the pro basketball teams). The games played and minutes played for "Others" are more of a "educated mathematical estimation", based on the GP and MP of the remaining players.

Let me know if you see any errors, or have any questions/issues with these teams.
