Excellent windows based text simulation for statistical replays, very accurate and even pitch by pitch realism option. Has been one of the best Baseball replay simulations available. Once again thanks to Jim at DMB there is excellent customer service but changes to the company in the last couple of years had cast doubt on its future updating policy.

However 2013 and 2014 seasons have been released, also the version 10a patch, and in 2014 a V11 update allowing player photos to appear on screen and some further season releases.

LTW Sports don’t produce a game, but offer complimentary products to use with your baseball sim game. Currently they have two categories of products: Day-by-Day spreadsheets (schedules and player utilization) and League Dashboard which analyzes on a Day-by-Day basis your replay versus the real life season. The spreadsheets are very handy to use both when you’re setting up and during the replay. The League Dashboard product is a stand-a-lone windows application that reads the box scores of your replay to do it’s in-depth Day-by-Day analysis and performance ratings. One of the best Computer Baseball replay simulations for windows, also transported from the board game original, with the added fun of basic ball and movement on the screen. Accurate results and many great  playing options. Customer service has been problems for some in the past but is now greatly improved. Now up to version 19 in 2015 and further enhanced. With the ability to purchase and download your game and seasons, and the other improvements, once again I would recommend this game !

OOTP23 - Latest version of this series - Baseball Management game with career imported actual stats or fictional style. The "Football Manager" of Baseball games. A multitude of features but not for the faint hearted for its learning curve. Interface rewritten in 2013 which is very welcome update and a FAR better game. Recommended once again and in 2015 (version 16) MLB licencing was added and 3D park images.

I was recently pointed to this game and it appeals to me because of its ease of play and quick playability as a tabletop Baseball game so head over to the site and take a look. From the site the games description :

"Each batter card has all 64 combinations of results from 11 to 88.  Roll the dice and read the batter card.  On about half the rolls you refer to the pitcher ratings to finalize the play results.  On about one out of six rolls you refer to a fielder's range or error rating to finish the play result.  There are also rolls for ballparks and crazy plays.

With only one roll of the dice to determine most play results, a 9 inning game is completed in about 15 to 30 minutes.  You will be up and playing the game within the first few minutes from opening the box.  Our play booklets make it easy to get into the swing of things."

This is a neat and fairly quick playing fun Baseball Game. With this game, you should be able to re-create the game of baseball complete with all the strategy and decisions that the big league manager make on a daily basis.  You set the rosters.  You pick your rotation.  You make the lineups.  All of the game strategies are here. Dice and cards game - not the dice baseball game I usually play but this one is easy and enjoyable..
